ugly or mid men in media irrationally piss me off because i get too distracted thinking about the standards actresses face to even pay attention to what they’re doing

hi! idk if your question was not meant to have an answer given, i can never tell, but maybe this can help you a bit! for pimples on the back of your neck it can usually be attributed to having wet hair touching your neck. it could also be wet fabrics like shirts and sheets
things like body heat, hair oil, leftover dirts in the hair (even after washing), allows bacterias to live really well and create fungal acne on your neck/back
even if you have hair that doesnt touch your neck it could be also a pillowcase/shirts that can be issues like damp from your other hair, exfoliation from rubbing, any product you may use, or needing to be washed/exchanged more often.
by no means is this like a cure-all fix/solution that will fully work and change your life or whatever, especially with genetic and other considerations, but it can help to consider if it is an issue causing pain for you or other issues
tyyy but it's mostly genetic and i'm just complaining lmao
thank u for taking the time to type this out though <3

i’m sure someone on here has said this before, but i think cis tiktok really took “feminine in a masculine way” and ran with it without realizing that the appeal of being feminine in a masculine way to genderqueer people, especially afab genderqueer people, isn’t just looking hot or whatever. it’s specifically the discordance of being perceived as masculine and performing femininity.
Like, you see cis women on tiktok with the caption “trying to be feminine in a masculine way!” and then they’ll wear these super femmey suits with their hair back and like. that’s cool i guess? i’m glad you feel confident. but the angst that genderqueer people feel over wanting to be feminine in a masculine way is derived from how this feeling almost seems like an impossible goal. like, femininity is standard for women, so when people perceive you as a woman and you dress feminine there’s no perceived deviance at all. you’re just dressing and acting like how a woman should, according to the audience of people who see you on the street. The part you feel that you lack when you say ‘in a masculine way’ is the part where your femininity gets to be nonstandard.
there’s almost a kind of grossness to when cis men in particular do femininity. it ranges at times from “haha ironic comedy, isn’t it so WEIRD and WACKY when men wear skirts???” gross to something almost demonic (like how men wearing makeup were treated at the height of the satanic panic). there’s like, falseness. like the femininity is separate from you somehow, as a facade, and that there’s some kind of clash between the femininity and the person underneath. and i’m not saying those are good things- the opposite, it’s really, really bad that we treat gender deviance this way. but the longing for this experience as an afab genderqueer person is the longing to exist in a role that is non-normative without sacrificing the things we love about femininity, and to be able to be feminine without having that related back to some quintessential nature of your gender as determined by broader society. I honestly feel like Natalie Wynn described this really well when she said that for her, as a woman, there’s no “de-dragging” where the womanhood falls away from her and she ceases to be feminine in a way that a drag queen might after a performance is over. I think what genderqueer people want when they want to be feminine in a masculine way is to have that ability, to have their femininity be a costume that they can take off at will.
anyways all this to say that i don’t think cosplaying as modcloth-workwear girlboss is going to help me achieve my gender euphoria goal of old church ladies sneering at me in derision every time i wear a dress. although honestly that is a great idea for a drag queen character
#this is an extremely funny post for me to make as someone who has denied the non-binary accusations for as long as i have#like girl you are not fooling anyone with the she before the they in your pronouns. be real#oc#non-binary#genderqueer#feminine in a masculine way#obviously i don’t speak for all genderqueer people#but like. i’d love for femininity to be something i can take off when i’m not longer in the mood for it#and not something that people view as being ‘inherently attached to my essence as a woman’ or whatever#i don’t have an essence of a woman. i have like. a poorly functioning intestinal tract#the thing that is inside of me is slimy organs. please stop ascribing gender onto my nasty weird little body#there’s honestly something so alluring about giovanni pota he’s spiky pink mullet and stubble and black nail polish#like. the image of a skirt that doesn’t fit quite right on you because your hips and waist are about the same circumference. so it’s like#mismatched???#and then the idea of wearing eyeliner but having like. stubble and acne#UGH. and like. dresses that have built in cups but you don’t have a bust? to fill it out???? auughhhh i wish i didn’t have a massive rack#like my body is SO traditionally feminine in figure i have such an hourglass silhouette and like the long legs and shit#and like. i feel like i look great maybe 40-45% of the time#i love filling out a fit and flare dress when i’m going out to hang out with lesbians and feeling very sexy in that context#but i don’t want that to be permanent yknow. there’s a restriction there that i despise#giovanni potage. idk why that corrected to pota he#considering potage is a word. fuck autocorrect

Your 20s are a vast wasteland of bad dates, bad decisions, bad relationships, and too much alcohol. Your brain is still forming. Your 30s there is clarity but also social pressure to be serious. Then your 40s...that's when it gets really great. You get to be the true you. You got rid of the 20s. Refined yourself in your 30s. And now you are you. You can't drink as much as you used to. You have to think more about caring for yourself. But you are you. Married. Single. Parent. Child. Straight. LGBTQ. Skinny. Fat. Cis. Trans. You are you. The 40s can be the promised land. Take care of yourself and set your habits before health issues become immense.
listen. aging into your thirties rocks. yes your joints get a little creaky. yes you can’t sleep in a pretzel on the floor anymore after a concert or a convention. and you lose some friends. but the thing is that you sort out who your real friends are and you sort out who you really are. and you get to see your friends settling into careers they like, and adopt new dogs and cats, and you find a job you can stand, and get really good at arts and crafts, and maybe that book you loved as a kid gets a movie deal and it doesn’t suck, and you learn to like new food and bake your own bread, and you realize that the great portfolio of self harm scars you all used to curate are going white with age and not updated, and half your friends are a different gender now and so much happier and maybe you are too, and you know who you are, and that it’s a journey and not a revelation. it’s a direction you’re headed, and you’re enjoying the trip.
reaching your 30′s rocks. and i’m hearing good things about what comes next, too.

i genuinely start tweaking when i see frail, skinny, smooth skinned, twink-ish marvin and whizzer bc what in gods name are you DOING. every time marvin and whizzer are twinkified, a falsettos fan falls to their knees and loses their will to live
Actually yes make them a little ugly, give them wrinkles and body hair and eyebags. Don't hold back, they're middle aged men for Christ's sake

Can’t wait to get me a 30+ year old sub with their own place and a good job so they could pamper me like I deserve. Not in the sugar baby way, bc with that dynamic a sugar baby takes a submissive role and earns gifts. As a Dom I don’t have to earn shit. I’ll receive gifts as tributes, and my sub will show their gratitude for my control through acts of service.

Tips on skin care for women
Here are some tips for women to help maintain healthy and radiant skin:
1. Know your skin type: Understanding your skin type is the first step in creating a tailored skincare routine.
2. Hydrate: Drink plenty of water to keep skin hydrated from within.
3. Cleanse: Use a gentle cleanser to remove dirt, oil, and makeup, and avoid over-cleansing.
4.Tone: Balance skin's pH with a toner.
5 Treat: Apply treatments, such as serums or spot treatments, to target specific skin concerns.
6. Moisturize: Hydrate skin with a moisturizer to prevent dryness and fine lines.
7. Protect: Wear broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher to protect skin from harmful UV rays.
8. Healthy lifestyle choices: Eat a healthy diet, get enough sleep, avoid smoking, and manage stress to keep skin healthy.
9. Avoid environmental damage: Limit sun exposure and use gentle skincare products.
10.Pay attention to hormonal changes: Hormonal changes during menopause, pregnancy, and menstruation can affect skin, so be mindful of these changes and adjust your skincare routine accordingly.
By following these tips and developing a consistent skincare routine, women can help maintain healthy and radiant skin and prevent common skin concerns such as wrinkles, sun damage, and breakouts.

We need more young stan content out here.
And nah I ain't talking about 12 year old Stanley or 30 year old mullet Stan, I'm talking 17 year old, slicked back hair, acne riddled Stan pines.
Tumblr media
Yeah that one.
I am so happy mullet Stan is so popular because his fit slaps ngl and the angst is so potent I can't not respect it. But teenage Stan has so much potential it's driving me insane.
There is a line dividing the 17 years of relative happiness Stan had with Ford and the 10+ years of depression and crime he had on the streets, and teenage Stan uses that line as a goddamn jump rope.
Seriously, depending on how you look at it dude is either living his best life or is fighting for said life in the trenches of homelessness and poverty.
I see a lot of content regarding Stan on the streets but it only ever focuses on 30ish Stan in his later years of homelessness where he's already a hardened adult after years of dealing with this bullshit. But Stan didn't just drive away and then magically turn 30. There were times in those first few months after Stan got kicked out where he was in his car, trying to sleep, probably starving, while still being fundamentally a child.
Hell, compared to the 30ish age of mullet Stan and the 60+ year old con man he'd later become, teenage Stan is damn near a baby. There's a certain brightness about him, a sort of warm naive optimism that still clings to him because he's straight up just too young to know any better.
He's still fully convinced he's gonna make it rich and go back to his family in a few years. He still believes wholeheartedly that even if shit sucks right now, eventually everything is gonna be okay. It has to be. But it's not gonna be okay. It's not gonna be okay for a long time. And some parts are just never gonna be okay.
Seeing a happy and oblivious teenage Stan feels like watching a baby lamb walk into a slaughter house.
The next 10-something years are going to tear him apart limb from limb. In 40 years he's going to wake up on a boat during a bout of amnesia thinking he's in Columbian prison, or he's locked in the trunk of a car and about to drown, or his shoulder is on fire and his brother is gone, or it's the end of the world and everyone he ever dared to give a shit about is about to die in front of him and it's all his fault because he was too weak to stop it.
At some point, a young Stanley is going to get into his first true life or death fight. He doesn't even have to be involved with crime yet for it to happen. He's probably bruised and bleeding, with not nearly enough money to afford a doctor. He's sitting in the driver's seat of his El Diablo having a complete and utter break down because he almost died and suddenly everything is real.
Nothing is okay, absolutely nothing is going to be okay and whatever is left of his teenage innocence, naivety, and warmth dies in that car and it never comes back.
The next 10+ years are going to fundamentally change Stanley as a person and he's never going to be the same ever again. But teenage Stan doesn't know that, he's still a kid trying to sleep in the back of his car, ignoring hunger pangs and finding comfort in the half baked business ideas his mind cooks up because he doesn't understand how utterly done for he is.
12 year old Stanley I believe is so appealing because of his bright rambunctious spirit. He's still just a kid playing on the beach with his brother, but so was teenage Stan. I just wish the wholesomeness that comes with that and the subsequent hurt that follows as that spirit is broken over and over again by the world was explored more.
Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.
